Medical Camps

Medical Camps Project

Problems

In many communities, particularly in the Wakiso District of Uganda, access to basic healthcare services is severely limited. This is exacerbated by poverty, lack of infrastructure, and inadequate healthcare facilities.

As a result, many individuals, especially orphans, refugees, and those living with HIV/AIDS, do not receive the medical attention they need. This lack of access leads to untreated illnesses, poor health outcomes, and increased vulnerability to preventable diseases.

Solution

Gracefield Foundation addresses this issue by conducting regular medical camps in the communities it serves.

These camps provide essential healthcare services, including medical check-ups, treatment for common illnesses, vaccinations, and health education.

The foundation collaborates with local healthcare providers and volunteers to ensure that these services are comprehensive and accessible to all community members.

Additionally, Gracefield offers counseling and support services to address mental health needs and provide guidance on healthy living practices.
