Gracefield Foundation is dedicated to enhancing educational opportunities for children in the Wakiso District of Uganda. Our education support initiatives are multifaceted, aiming to address the diverse needs of the community and create a comprehensive impact.
We have established Gracefield Academy, a school providing quality education to children from nursery through primary levels. The academy not only offers academic instruction but also focuses on the holistic development of students through extracurricular activities and moral guidance. In 2022, we successfully initiated the construction of school buildings and have been providing education bursaries to over 100 children annually, covering school fees, uniforms, and scholastic materials.
Our foundation also emphasizes vocational training and skill development, particularly for girls and women. We offer courses in practical skills such as sewing, tailoring, and soap making, empowering them with tools for economic independence. Additionally, we conduct regular career guidance and peer education sessions to help all community members, regardless of age, explore self-reliance through various enterprises.
We believe that education is the cornerstone of community development. By providing access to quality education and skill-building opportunities, we aim to break the cycle of poverty and create a more equitable and prosperous society.
